Junior Cloud Delivery Engineer

Summary

Join Canonical and help global companies adopt cutting-edge private cloud infrastructure, Linux, cloud-native operations, and open-source applications. As a Linux and cloud solutions architect, you will design private and public cloud solutions, work hands-on with technologies like Kubernetes and OpenStack, and develop Kubernetes operators using Python. You'll collaborate with customers, providing architecture, presentations, and training. This role offers remote work and global travel opportunities. The ideal candidate possesses expertise in AI/ML, Linux, cloud computing, and Python programming, along with excellent communication skills.

Requirements

• Have experience in AI/ML and MLOps
• Have practical knowledge of Linux, virtualisation, containers and networking
• Have sound knowledge of cloud computing concepts & technologies, such as Kubernetes, Kubeflow, OpenStack, AWS, GCP, Azure, Ceph, etc
• Have an intermediate level of Python programming skills
• Be a dynamic person who loves to jump in new projects and interact with people
• Have a demonstrated drive for continual learning
• Have excellent communication and presentation skills (English and Spanish)
• Have great organisational skills and follow-up reliably on commitments
• Have a University degree in Computer Science or related software engineering expertise
• Have Spanish language - professional proficiency

Responsibilities

• Work across the entire Linux stack, from kernel, networking, storage, to applications
• Design and deploy clouds and applications for external customers
• Architect cloud infrastructure solutions like Kubernetes, Kubeflow, OpenStack, Ceph, Hadoop and Spark either On-Premises or in Public Cloud (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Grow a healthy, collaborative engineering culture in line with the company values
