Senior Cloud Engineer

Summary

Join Encora as a Senior Cloud Engineer and be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions using AWS services. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable applications. Lead technical projects, mentor junior engineers, and continuously improve software development practices. This remote position, based in Latin America, requires experience with AWS, Terraform, and related technologies. You will ensure the delivery of robust and reliable software systems, implementing infrastructure as code and robust backup and recovery strategies.

Requirements

• Graduates in systems, networks or related fields with +5 years of experience
• Tech Stack: AWS
• Amazon Aurora
• Terraform
• PostgreSQL

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud infrastructure using AWS services (EC2, S3, VPC, Lambda, etc.)
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management with Terraform, ensuring infrastructure as code (IaC) practices are followed
• Implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and business continuity
