Junior Copywriter

Summary

The Junior Copywriter role is a 6-month position based in London. The candidate will be responsible for concepting, writing, and editing copy for various digital media while working closely with the creative team and clients. They should have at least 2 years of full-time agency experience, strong experience presenting to clients, ability to create master copy in US and British English, think strategically, have a good record in creating immaculate copy, excellent communication skills, keen attention to detail and timescales, familiarity with creative processes and techniques, and ability to adhere to internal processes. Preferred requirements include being able to offer creative solutions to client briefs, having a desire to work closely with clients, meticulous attention to detail, good communication and organizational skills, and openness to attend Change the Brief training and soak up recommended research and reading about sustainability issues.

Requirements

• At least 2 years full-time agency experience in a creative role
• Have strong experience working and presenting to clients
• Be able to think strategically and ideate from a strategic brief
• Portfolio expressing strong examples of both conceptual and direct copywriting, editorial experience would be a bonus

Responsibilities

• Concept, write and edit copy for a variety of projects across digital media including blogs and website content, presentations, emails, Social, and Display Ads
• Work on projects from start to finish, working collaboratively across teams and independently on ideation, creation and implementation
• Interpret creative briefs to develop and produce creative concepts through execution
• Collaborate with the creative team to drive unique and well-crafted copy that meet clients’ needs as well as our own
