- Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign)
- Working knowledge of UI/UX design principles and tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch)
- Familiarity with HTML/CSS is a plus
- Strong typography skills and understanding of layout principles
- Ability to work effectively in both print and digital mediums
- Experience with motion graphics and video editing is a plus
- Detail-oriented with excellent time management skills
- Demonstrate a strong ability to think and execute across multiple channels
- Thorough understanding of the design process and how to apply creative briefs
- Team player with an eagerness to collaborate and mentor junior designers
- Strong communication skills and ability to present design concepts effectively
Responsibilities
- Proceed from creative briefing to generating visual concepts, with guidance from the art director or creative director
- Collaborate with copywriters and other team members to create designs that are innovative, effective, and on strategy
- Develop sketches, mockups, or prototypes to visualize design concepts
- Work with print production specialists to discuss paper, specs, and folds, and obtain estimates on printing to remain within budget prior to execution
- Create layouts that are on strategy, visually engaging, clear, and require minimal updates
- Ensure designs are optimized for various platforms, including digital and print
- Review your own work to deliver error-free designs that contain all required elements, paying attention to typography, image placement, and overall flow to ensure the intended user experience
- Complete work on time and on budget, meeting clients' expectations and upholding company standards
- Maintain and evolve brand visual identities, including color palettes, typography, and overall design language
- Preserve the brand integrity of each client
- Contribute to the planning and art direction of photo and video shoots when needed
- Build relationships of trust with key partners throughout the agency and resolve creative differences swiftly and cooperatively
