Junior Data Engineer

Requirements

• Minimum 1+ years experience in software engineering and data engineering
• Hands on experience with: ETL and data orchestration tools, SQL and relational database management systems

Responsibilities

• Designing, implementing, and championing the tooling required for data ingress and orchestration
• Developing DWH standards, ingress and egress patterns for production data sets
• Collaborating with engineering and product teams to ensure prioritization of data and analytics goals
• Troubleshooting DWH, pipeline, or data lake performance problems and bottlenecks

Preferred Qualifications

• Cloud or columnar data stores such as Redshift, Snowflake, or Hive/Presto
• Supporting transformation tools such as DBT, Fivetran, or AWS Glue in production
