Junior Data Engineer Intern

Summary

Join SOPHiA GENETICS as an intern to contribute to preparing and structuring large multimodal datasets within their Data Hub. As an intern, you will be involved in preparing and harmonizing oncology cohorts, selecting key variables, and structuring multimodal data for advanced analysis.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Data Engineering or a related field
• Basic knowledge of Biostatistics
• Proficiency in Python
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal
• Ability to manage priorities effectively
• A team player who collaborates well with others, while also able to work independently when necessary

Responsibilities

• Preparing and harmonising multicentric oncology cohorts, ensuring data consistency for research use
• Selecting key variables and perform basic statistical exploration of datasets
• Structuring and integrating multimodal data (clinical and imaging) into SOPHiA GENETICS Data Hub for advanced analysis
• Collaboration with various teams to ensure the smooth flow and availability of harmonized datasets for research
