Join the Multimodal Predictive Algorithm Team as a Junior Data Scientist Intern at SOPHiA GENETICS to contribute to the development and validation of deep-learning algorithms for predicting treatment responses in various cancer types.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science and Applied Mathematics, or a related field
• Basic knowledge of deep-learning techniques and image processing
• Proficiency in Python, with a strong interest in machine learning and AI
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal
• Ability to manage priorities effectively, and collaborate within a team, while also working independently when required

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development and validation of deep-learning algorithms designed to predict treatment responses in various cancer types
• Constitution and managing of the training and testing cohorts from real-world medical datasets
• Training deep-learning algorithms on medical imaging datasets to improve prediction accuracy
• Testing and validating the performance and effectiveness of deep-learning models
• Optimisation and fine-tune deep-learning models for better performance and clinical applicability
