Junior Developer

Summary

Join our team at AB InBev Growth Group as a Software Developer to contribute to feature development and maintenance of a global product, partner with colleagues to build tooling for test development, automation, and release processes improvement, and implement new features and functionalities to enhance the user experience and increase engagement.

Requirements

• University degree in courses related to computing such as Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, and Systems Analysis and Development
• Solid fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms and problem solving
• Experience with backend with strong skills in Java
• Experience with RESTful services and micro-services
• Knowledge with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring MVC) or similar
• Knowledge in with design patterns and development best practices
• Knowledge of software testing concepts (testability, regression, unit, integration, stress, test automation)
• Experience with Agile projects
• Experience with Databases (Mongo or similar)
• Experience with development tools and process (GIT, Maven, Gradle)

Responsibilities

• Be part of a cross-functional team, directly contributing to feature development and maintenance of a global product following best development practices to achieve continuous improvement
• Partner with colleagues to build and maintain tooling for test development, automation, and release processes improvement
• Technical development and implementation of the BEES Marketplace expansion to multiple countries
• Implement new features and functionalities to enhance the user experience and increase engagement
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the platform
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements to ensure the platform remains competitive

Preferred Qualifications

• Desirable Python experience
• Desirable with Queues (RabbitMQ or Kafka)
• Desirable with security protocols (JWT, OAUTH, etc.)
