Summary

As a DevSecOps Engineer at Omitron, you will ensure the security and stability of infrastructure, applications, and services by working closely with development and operations teams. Your experience with Kubernetes and cloud services (VMware cloud foundations, AWS, and Azure) is essential. Key responsibilities include administering and troubleshooting VMware vSphere environments, Active Directory, DNS and DHCP services, performing hardware troubleshooting, and providing customer support.

Requirements

• Active Security+ certification
• Experience with VMware vSphere administration and troubleshooting
• Proficiency in Active Directory administration and troubleshooting
• Knowledge of user and group account creation and management
• Experience with DNS and DHCP administration and troubleshooting
• Ability to troubleshoot PC/server hardware issues
• Basic understanding of networking concepts (IP addressing, connectivity troubleshooting, etc.)
• Basic knowledge of cyber security principles
• Experience providing customer support, both local and remote
• Ability to obtain a security clearance

Responsibilities

• Administer and troubleshoot VMware vSphere environments
• Manage and troubleshoot Active Directory, including user and group account creation and management
• Administer and troubleshoot DNS and DHCP services
• Perform PC/server hardware troubleshooting
• Assist with basic networking tasks, including IP addressing and connectivity troubleshooting
• Apply basic cyber security knowledge to ensure system integrity and security
• Provide exceptional customer support to both local and remote users

Preferred Qualifications

• Active Secret (or higher) clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
