Junior Manual QA Engineer

Summary

The job description is for a Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer position at Ajax Systems, an international technology company specializing in the development and production of smart home security systems. The QA Department is responsible for ensuring the reliability and stability of the products during development, manufacturing, and further development.

Requirements

• Technical background
• Understanding client-server architecture
• Knowledge of QA processes, test design techniques, SDLC
• Ability to write test documentation and bug reports
• Basic knowledge of networks (networks)
• Knowledge of API and methods for testing it
• Basic knowledge of SQL
• Basic knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, TestRail

Responsibilities

• Working with low-level binary protocols
• Working with real and emulated devices
• Understanding complex server architecture
• Performing root cause analysis for bugs
• Writing test documentation
• Analyzing technical documentation
• Performing various types of testing
• Describing bugs accurately and managing the bug lifecycle

Preferred Qualifications

• More than one year of experience
• Experience in testing Backend
• Basic knowledge of UNIX/Linux OS
• Experience with logs (e.g., Kibana)
• Experience with Postman
