Junior Finance & Accounting Manager

Summary

Join our team as a Junior Finance & Accounting Manager and support the day-to-day financial operations of our FinTech company. This role focuses on handling payments, managing expenses, and ensuring financial accuracy in both fiat and crypto transactions. You will monitor employee expenses, process payments, work with external accountants, track cash flow, manage vendor relationships, and assist with onboarding new financial systems. The ideal candidate has one or more years of experience in finance, accounting, or admin, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. Experience in a crypto/Web3 or FinTech company is a plus. This is a remote position with flexible full-time or part-time options, offering a competitive salary and the opportunity to work with an international team.

Requirements

• One or more years of experience in a finance, accounting, or admin role (start-up or tech environment preferred)
• Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Excel/Google Sheets skills, experience with Google/Microsoft office products
• Good communication and organizational skills (English required, German nice to have)

Responsibilities

• Monitor employee expenses and reimbursements; enforce expense policies
• Process and track outgoing payments in both fiat and cryptocurrency
• Work with our external tax and financial accountants
• Track cash flow and manage short-term liquidity
• Help manage vendor relationships and contracts
• Assist with onboarding new tools and systems to automate and streamline financial processes

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a crypto/ Web3, or fintech company
• Working knowledge of financial principles and accounting systems
