Junior Finance and Tax Specialist

Summary

Join KOSTAL Group, a global leader in solar and automotive solutions, as a Junior Finance & TAX Specialist in their new business service center in Hungary. Support daily financial operations, focusing on accounting and global tax/transfer pricing. This role offers a strong foundation in finance and tax within an international environment, contributing to compliance, process quality, and operational efficiency. The position is fully remote from any location in Hungary with occasional office presence. You will work closely with colleagues across various KOSTAL entities and participate in process improvement initiatives. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (or in progress) in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• 0-1 years of experience in finance or accounting; internship or student work experience is highly valued
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
• Willingness to learn and work with financial systems and tools
• Fluent English (spoken and written) is required
• Native Hungarian
• Detail-oriented, multi-tasking ability and accurate working style
• Enthusiastic, curious, self-driven and willing to learn
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Reliable and structured approach to completing tasks
• Flexible and ready to support various finance-related processes

Responsibilities

• Support operational transfer pricing tasks, including monthly margin analysis, maintaining intercompany agreements, resolution of operational issues, and assisting in business partnering
• Contribute to transfer pricing compliance activities, such as documentation, benchmarking, policy updates, and CBCR (Country-by-Country Reporting)
• Monitor changes in tax laws and maintain ownership of the global compliance tracker
• Assist with tax and financial audits, providing support and documentation
• Cross-functional collaboration (with Controlling, Finance, Legal departments, across the Business Units)
• Support internal and external reporting
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies and statutory standards
• Work closely with colleagues across various KOSTAL entities
• Participate in process improvement initiatives, suggesting ideas for standardization and automation
• Document work processes clearly and ensure procedure materials remain up to date

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a shared service or multinational environment is an advantage
• Familiarity with ERP systems; SAP is preferred
