Junior Financial Analyst

Summary

Dynamis Inc. seeks an experienced Financial Analyst with active TS/SCI clearance to provide financial analysis, audit remediation, and operational sustainment support at the National Geospatial Intelligence Agency. Responsibilities include daily accounting and auditing activities, federal financial reporting, identifying financial process improvements, and more.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship required
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, or other related field required
• Active TS/SCI with ability to pass a Polygraph required
• Minimum of 4 years of accounting and auditing experience or financial management required
• Experience working on financial statement audits required

Responsibilities

• Execute day-to-day accounting and audit activities of the engagement and conduct fieldwork daily
• Gather audit related data
• Apply innovative methodologies that support an audit
• Perform federal financial reporting, general ledger analysis, and serve as an audit liaison
• Assist with the remediation of any identified issues during the audit process
• Identify and implement financial process improvements through automation
• Document and test internal controls over financial reporting or improper payments in accordance with FMFIA, PIIA, and OMB Circular A-123
• Determine the value of capital assets
• Provide financial analysis and support to management and stakeholders
• Monitor and analyze industry trends to identify opportunities for growth

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 years of experience working with Federal Government and/or DoD clients preferred
• CPA, CIA, CFE, CGFM, or CDFM Certification is a plus
• Experience with Momentum is a plus
