Junior Gameplay Engineer

Summary

Join 1047 Games as a Junior Gameplay Engineer and tackle complex, fun challenges! You'll set the direction for game design, prioritize features, and collaborate with art and production teams to enhance our new game within the Splitgate universe. This is a permanently remote position within a VC-backed company known for its innovative approach to game development. We're looking for a passionate, hardworking gamer engineer with proven skills and a desire to create exceptional gaming experiences. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and game development using C++ or similar languages. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• 2-6 years of software development experience
• Proficiency in Game Development
• Proficiency in C++ or similar object-oriented languages
• Proficiency in 3D math

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Game Development
• Proficiency in Unreal Engine with an understanding of UE5 architecture and preferred pipelines
• Good understanding of the Unreal Engine SDK including C++, Blueprints, multiplayer, UI, AI, animation, optimization
• Understanding of concurrent programming
• A background working with asset management systems, asset bundles, and in particular downloadable content (DLC)
