Junior Incident Response Consultant

Summary

Join Pondurance in ensuring every organization is able to detect and respond to cyber threats as a Junior Incident Response Consultant. The role involves supporting forensic investigations, performing forensic analysis, and communicating findings to internal teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or equivalent experience in related field
• Lifecycle of a Business Email Compromise
• Phishing Attacks
• Ability to Leverage Various Tools to Timeline Compromise

Responsibilities

• Support the Incident Response lifecycle from containment through reporting needs at the guidance of Principal and Senior consultants
• Perform forensic analysis of relevant datasets and convey findings to internal Pondurance team
• Identify indicators of malicious or unauthorized activities within forensic evidence
• Communicate forensic findings in an organized format to internal team
• Convey potential gaps in evidence to internal team
• Provide after-hours support, as needed per investigation
