Summary

Join dynamic teams at Mediagenix, a company enabling media companies worldwide to efficiently deliver content. As a Software Engineer, you will develop and maintain functionalities for the Rumo product using Java and expanding your skills in Scala. You will ensure code quality through testing and code reviews, contribute to infrastructure deployment, participate in design, and handle customer integrations. Requirements

  • You bring excellent actionable knowledge in Java Programming, with a focus on functional programming
  • You have experience with MongoDB or similar noSQL database
  • You're familiar with docker and Kubernetes
  • You bring ability to participate in code reviews and follow code quality best practices
  • Your colleagues would describe you as a team player, upbeat, adaptable and having a positive attitude
  • Last but not least, you're fluent in French & English

Responsibilities

  • Develop new functionalities for our products in line with the defined methodology and quality criteria
  • Ensure the maintenance (improvements, bug fixes, etc.) for existing functionalities
  • Ensure the quality of the code of the team by conducting tests and code reviews
  • Contribute to the deployment and maintenance of the technical infrastructure
  • Participate in the functional and technical design of the new product functionalities
  • Participate in the integration of new customers and ensure the maintenance of existing integrations
  • Ensure that the technical documentation associated with the solution is complete (specs, design diagrams etc.)

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge and/or experience with Scala is appreciated, as well as AWS (EKS, S3, EC2, Elastic Beanstalk, lambdas, API Gateway)
