Junior Java Developer DevOps Engineer in Greece

Summary

The job is for a Junior Java Developer/DevOps Engineer at EUROPEAN DYNAMICS (ED) in Thessaloniki or remotely. The candidate will work on large scale web-based and mobile applications using cutting-edge technologies, maintain DevOps tools, contribute to software architecture, and work in a multi-national environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Software Engineering
• Enthusiasm for programming and knowledge of Java
• Strong analytical capabilities, team- and quality-oriented, keen to learn and excel
• Fluency in verbal and written English

Responsibilities

• Participate in the design and development of large scale web-based and mobile applications using state-of-the-art techniques and technologies
• Maintain and develop DevOps tools and services such as CI/CD pipelines and automated processes
• Participate and contribute in the process of defining the software architecture
• Work in a multi-national environment

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in any of the following technologies will be highly appreciated: Java, Javascript, Frontend JS frameworks (e.g. Angular), Databases and SQL, REST, Linux, microservices, SpringBoot or Quarkus, Jenkins, Docker
