Summary

The job is for an R&D Backend developer in Bucharest, focusing on improving End-2-End product features and aligning the team with company growth. The role involves developing a microservice system using Java and BigData, working in an Agile methodology, and meeting performance targets by KPIs.

Requirements

• Developer with proven experience of at least 1 years
• Java/Scala experience of at least 1 years (not scripting or automation, but pure backend with design patterns and OOP)
• Knowledge of a Unix/Linux environment
• Basic Knowledge and experience with: BigData, Spark or other
• Basic Knowledge and experience with no-SQL DB like Elastichsearch, Mongo
• Basic Knowledge and experience with: Docker, Kubernetes
• Basic Knowledge of End-2-End systems including, Git, Jenkins, DevOps
• Understanding of Cloud systems like AWS

Responsibilities

• Team player with coding hands-on ability that can work with other team members to accomplish various jobs
• Establish from scratch the backend foundations of R&D based on Java
• Work in a ‘start-up’ environment, ensuring 'all bases are covered
• Set and meet the performances by KPIs

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of cyber processes, agile development, system operations
• Background in Machine Learning, NLP or related field
• Deep understanding of Cyber Security domain
