Junior Javascript Developer

Summary

Join Emplifi's Burger team as a front-end developer, contributing to back-end development and full-stack functionality. Requirements

• Some hands-on experience (professional or personal projects) with JavaScript, ideally including Node.js and React
• Basic understanding of clean code principles and willingness to learn how to write maintainable software
• Familiarity with Git and collaborative workflows
• Enthusiasm to learn new technologies and take ownership of your work with the support of your teammates

Responsibilities

• Collaborate in a diverse, international team using English every day
• Learn to plan and manage your development tasks with support from your teammates and mentor
• Update, maintain, and help build new features in our product
• Investigate bugs and user issues, asking questions and working with more experienced developers to find solutions
• Write and maintain tests to keep our platform reliable and easy to maintain
• Debug code with guidance and contribute to reducing technical debt
• Participate in code reviews to learn best practices and improve your skills
• Share progress and ideas openly within the team
• Participate actively in the scrum process and attend relevant meetings
• Grow your technical skill set continuously with the help of your team
• Always consider how real users will interact with what you build

• Experience or familiarity with any of the following
• Redux Sagas or React Query
• RESTful APIs
• ElasticSearch (ELK stack)
