Summary

The job is for a Legal Compliance Assistant at BetterMe, a health & wellness platform. The role involves researching and implementing legal compliance across various sectors, drafting and revising legal documents, raising awareness about legal requirements, and communicating with business partners. Relevant experience in an international or top-tier law firm, Big 4, or IT product company is preferred.

Requirements

• Fluent English (including basic legal drafting)
• 1+ year of relevant experience, preferably with an international or top-tier law firm, Big 4, or IT product company

Responsibilities

• Researching and analyzing legal risks under the guidance of senior team members
• Supporting the implementation of legal compliance across different sectors of business operations
• Assisting in drafting and revising commercial contracts, internal policies, and other legal documents under supervision
• Helping in raising awareness about legal requirements within the company
• Aiding in communications with business partners, law firms, and service providers, ensuring the company’s interests are always represented

Preferred Qualifications

Basic understanding of GDPR and other data protection regulations/frameworks
