Junior Product Designer

Summary

Join our growing global Product Design team as a Junior Product Designer and play a vital role in the design process, working alongside experienced designers, product managers, and engineers to bring innovative SaaS products to life.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, bootcamp, or certificate in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 0-2 years of experience in product design or a similar role (a strong portfolio can substitute for experience)
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles
• Proficiency in Figma
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• A passion for learning and a willingness to take on new challenges

Responsibilities

• Assist Designers and Product Managers with user research activities such as surveys, interviews, and usability testing
• Help translate user research findings into actionable insights and design solutions
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas to the design process
• Create low-fidelity wireframes and mockups to visualize design concepts
• Develop high-fidelity prototypes for user testing and iterate based on feedback
• Collaborate with engineers and product managers to ensure designs are feasible and meet user needs
• Stay up-to-date on design trends and best practices
• Contribute to maintaining a consistent design language across all products
• Learn and grow your design skills through mentorship and participation in design workshops

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with user research methodologies (e.g., user interviews, card sorting)
• Experience with prototyping
• Understanding of basic design principles (e.g., typography, color theory, layout)
• A portfolio showcasing your design work and process
