Junior Product Designer

Requirements

• Have a great portfolio with at least one UI desktop project (private or commercial)
• Have 1 year of commercial experience in a similar position
• Understand UX rules
• Know design programs (we work in Figma, but PS, AI are always helpful)
• Be able to create basic style guide with UI elements (with a buddy/mentor/leader’s help)
• Understand a target user, evaluating current products from a UX perspective, participating in design workshops
• Be willing to do research before or after meeting when necessary
• Be able to design landing pages and parts of the application based on the recveived specifications
• Be able to work with already existing design assets (especially: style guide, UI kit)
• Be capable of preparing Responsive Web Designs
• Have AI curiosity and practical knowledge of its use in design projects
• Have excellent command of Polish (C1) and English (C1)
• Be knowledge hungry - with eagerness to learn and take on challenges
• Have familiarity with Scrum and Agile methodologies
• Have a problem solving way of thinking
• Have solid communication skills and not be afraid to challenge the status quo
• Be open-minded to new ideas and perspectives
• Be aware of your strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvements
• Actively seek solutions and try to figure things out on your own, but not be afraid to ask for help when needed
• Be willing to learn from experienced designers how to cooperate with U.S. Founders and CEOs

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for creating useful and eye-pleasing designs including landing pages, web/desktop applications
• Create interactive prototypes to demonstrate your design
• Prepare user flow and low-fidelity wireframes based on the requirements of the client
• Work with existing Design Systems with a buddy’s help
• Attend meetings with the client where we set all of the requirements
• Participate in in-house meetings where the Product Designer, Developers and Proxy Product Owners create requirements for the application
• Present your ideas to the team and client, incorporating feedback from your Mentor/Buddy/Leader and Proxy Product Owner
• Prepare marketing assets for projects (Dribbble shots, Facebook Ads) as well as for internal company purposes

Preferred Qualifications

• Have experience in preparing marketing assets (Dribbble shots, Facebook Posts)
• Have illustrating skills
• Have branding skills
• Have experience in Webflow/Framer
• Know After Effects/Jitter, Framer
• Know Make (or alternative), ChatGPT/Claude (or alternative)
