Summary
Join a leading Australian recruitment firm as a Junior Recruitment Consultant, supporting senior consultants in sourcing and screening high-quality candidates. You will actively screen candidates, create polished candidate profiles, proactively source candidates through various platforms, manage the applicant workflow, coordinate interviews, support reference checks, and prepare shortlists. The role requires a minimum of 2 years of recruitment experience, ideally with international hiring exposure. Proficiency in using LinkedIn Recruiter, Seek Talent Search, and applicant tracking systems is essential. Excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask are also required. A quiet home working environment is essential. The position offers a permanent work-from-home setup, a dayshift schedule, full-time employment, HMO, annual leave, and a Christmas bonus.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recruitment experience, ideally with exposure to international hiring (AUS/UK/US markets)
- Proficient in using LinkedIn Recruiter, Seek Talent Search, and applicant tracking systems
- Excellent English communication skills—both spoken and written
- Strong attention to detail, especially when it comes to formatting and data accuracy
- Confident and professional phone manner with a proactive communication style
- Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and follow structured, fast-paced workflows
- Must have a quiet and focused home working environment (essential for phone and video-based communication)
Responsibilities
- Actively screen and assess candidates from job ads via FastTrack, identifying top talent that aligns with client needs
- Create and polish candidate profiles using internal templates, ensuring all submissions are professional and client-ready
- Source candidates proactively through platforms like LinkedIn Recruiter, Seek Talent Search, and job boards to build strong talent pipelines
- Own the applicant workflow—keep candidate records up to date and organised in the ATS, ensuring smooth tracking and reporting
- Coordinate interviews by liaising with candidates and accessing Senior Consultants' calendars to secure ideal timeslots
- Support reference checking processes and manage professional email communications with candidates throughout the recruitment cycle
- Prepare polished shortlists and ensure all data in our systems and documents is accurate, consistent, and presentable for client submission
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Teams, and Zoho is a strong advantage
