Junior Sales Trader

Summary

The job is for a French speaking Junior Sales Trader in Targray's Environmental Commodities division in the Netherlands. The role involves trading Carbon Offsets, I-REC’s, GoO’s and EUA’s within the EU ETS. It is a one-year renewable contract with potential for permanence. The candidate should be a native French speaker with a background in finance and/or sales, possess exceptional communication skills, and have cold calling experience.

Requirements

• Native French speaker and fluent in English
• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• 1-3 years’ of relevant work experience
• Exceptional communication skills with strong interpersonal abilities
• A natural sales or business development acumen
• Proficient in cold calling and skilled at devising innovative strategies to attract clients
• Driven to close deals with a strong appetite for success and achievement
• Unwavering determination and a strong drive for excellence, demonstrated through a relentless work ethic and a consistent track record of achieving results
• Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset and ability to think critically
• Exceptional quantitative, logical reasoning, and analytical skills

Responsibilities

• Build, manage, and expand a client portfolio
• Source and develop leads independently
• Negotiate prices and contract terms
• Benefit from our collaborative knowledge-sharing approach across our entities, guaranteeing access to the most up-to-date insights within our respective markets
• Research and present recommendations to senior management on new market opportunities
