Summary

Join Kraken's Pro Product Marketing team and contribute to the success of their flagship advanced trading platform. As a Margin Trading expert, you will play a key role in shaping the product vision, leading product launches, and enhancing the existing portfolio. You will craft compelling product narratives, drive sales enablement, and support Kraken's global ecosystem growth. You will also conduct market analysis, champion customer research, and translate insights into actionable marketing strategies. This is a fully remote position with ongoing applications.

Requirements

  • 7–10 years of product marketing experience, ideally in crypto and/ or trading platforms
  • Deep expertise in margin trading — including user psychology, leverage mechanics, risk management practices, and product differentiators across crypto and traditional finance
  • Proven success launching products and features using market, customer, and behavioral insights
  • A customer-obsessed mindset with strong experience in positioning products to different user segments
  • Ability to lead complex, cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders and tight timelines
  • Track record of crafting powerful, differentiated product narratives that drive engagement and adoption
  • Highly analytical and data-driven — comfortable navigating trading metrics to identify trends, uncover insights, and inform go-to-market decisions
  • Strategic thinker with strong execution skills—comfortable operating independently and in ambiguity
  • Strong communication skills across formats (Slack, docs, presentations, verbal) and audiences
  • Passion for helping others grow—supports peers, mentors junior PMMs, and helps raise the bar for the team

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the Margin Trading product vision and roadmap: Partner closely with cross-functional teams to shape and execute the Margin product vision and roadmap. Use customer and market insights to influence strategic direction and ensure we’re focused on delivering the highest value to our users
  • Lead product launches: Drive the go-to-market strategy for new product and feature launches
  • Elevate the existing Margin Trading portfolio: Evaluate the performance and positioning of existing products to identify areas of opportunity
  • Craft and evolve product value narratives: Own the development of compelling product positioning, messaging, and packaging strategies that clearly articulate value to our target audiences
  • Drive sales enablement: Lead the creation and delivery of sales enablement materials and messaging strategies in collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and Product
  • Support Kraken’s ecosystem growth: Architect to go-to-market efforts that expand Kraken’s footprint globally. Leverage partnerships, integrations, and product-led growth initiatives to increase adoption and drive customer expansion and retention
  • Be a market and customer expert: Conduct deep analysis of customer needs, competitor offerings, and market trends. Share insights regularly with internal teams and use them to inform marketing strategies, product direction, and competitive differentiation
  • Champion customer research and insight: Lead discovery and validation work through focus groups, panels, surveys, and user interviews to understand why and when active users choose margin, what risk factors impact behavior, and how experienced traders make platform decisions. Translate qualitative and quantitative insights into actionable marketing strategies that reflect our customers’ priorities and trading behavior
