Junior Software Engineer

Summary

The job is for a Junior Fullstack Engineer at SmartBear's Wroclaw office, working on the VisualTest product. The role involves developing and modernizing the product using TypeScript/Nodejs, Python, Java, React, Express, PostgreSQL, AWS, Docker. The candidate should have a BS degree in Computer Science or related domains and 1.5+ years of commercial experience with required knowledge of TypeScript/Nodejs and React, and basic knowledge of Python, Serverless, TypeOrm BE, AWS/Serverless, Docker, Databases: PostgreSQL, Testing Frameworks: Cypress, Playwright , Selenium.

Requirements

• BS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related domains
• 1.5+ years of commercial experience and the following: Languages: TypeScript/Nodejs (required), Python(basic knowledge)
• Frameworks: React(required) FE, Express (required) BE, Serverless (possibility to learn), TypeOrm BE
• Environments: AWS/Serverless, Docker
• Databases: PostgreSQL
• Basic knowledge regarding to Testing Frameworks: Cypress, Playwright , Selenium

Responsibilities

• Developing the product, modernizing the legacy parts of a product by introducing a cutting-edge technological stack
