Junior Software QA

Summary

The job is for a Senior Software QA - Manual Tester at PTW, a leading games services company. The role involves leading a team of manual testers, developing test cases, collaborating with the development team, identifying and documenting bugs, and staying updated with new testing tools and strategies.

Requirements

• Proven work experience leading teams of manual software quality assurance
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
• Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Manual QA testers to ensure the quality of our software
• Develop, document, and maintain functional test cases and other test artifacts like the test data, data validation, and automated scripts
• Collaborate with the development team to understand product changes and develop appropriate testing strategies
• Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
• Liaise with internal teams (e.g., developers and product managers) to identify system requirements
• Monitor debugging process results
• Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus
