Junior Systems Engineer

Summary

Requirements

• Foundation in Linux or UNIX systems administration ideally within medium to large scale IT environments
• 1-2 years of Linux or UNIX System Administration
• University degree in IT or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Work with a team of engineers and be trained on the Systems management of a large IT Infrastructure supporting the company’s global IT services, hosted services and software development activities
• Administration of Enterprise Server Virtualization platforms (including VMware and Hyper-V)
• Management and installation of Enterprise Grade server/storage hardware platforms
• Administration of Enterprise Backup Systems
• Collaborate with DEVOPS teams with respect to the delivery of new IT services

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with enterprise storage and backup systems, mail systems and Open Source technologies would be an advantage
