Junior Test Engineer

Summary

The job is for a 6-month software testing internship at Cobham SATCOM in Kraków, Poland. The intern will gain practical experience in IT and work on modern testing tools. They will participate in the full software development cycle and have real influence on product quality.

Requirements

• Understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC)
• General knowledge about basic types of testing (functional, regressive)
• Ability to read and interpret requirement documentation
• Assist in creating test cases and test scenarios under the supervision of more experienced testers
• Basic knowledge of data management for testing
• Communicate effectively with the testing team and write clear, precise test reports and bug reports
• English proficiency at B2 level

Responsibilities

• Perform manual tests according to prepared test cases
• Document test results and report defects

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Python
• Familiarity with Docker, Jenkins, SoapUi, Fiddler, Wireshark, Selenium
• Ability to work with electronics/hardware
