Junior Web Developer

Summary

Two Six Technologies is seeking a Junior Web Developer to join their team. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining web applications. Requirements

• 2 plus years of experience
• Strong understanding of web development fundamentals, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience with at least one web development framework or library such as React, Angular, or Vue.js
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
• Basic understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies and frameworks

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and development of web applications and websites
• Collaborate with senior developers to implement new features and functionalities
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards
• Perform testing and debugging to ensure the quality and reliability of web applications
• Participate in code reviews to provide and receive constructive feedback
• Keep up-to-date with the latest web technologies and trends, and share knowledge with the team
• Support the maintenance and optimization of existing web applications
• Work closely with designers and other team members to ensure a seamless user experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with server-side programming languages such as Node.js, Python, or PHP
• Knowledge of database systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB
• Understanding of web accessibility standards and best practices
• Familiarity with front-end build tools and preprocessors such as Webpack, Babel, or Sass
• Experience with testing frameworks and methodologies such as Jest, Mocha, or Selenium
• Participation in personal or open-source projects showcasing web development skills
• Relevant internships or work experience in web development or related fields
• Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira and Confluence
