Language Interpreter

Summary

Join our team as a Language Interpreter (English & Arabic/Pashto) for a 12-month contract, potentially renewable. You will facilitate communication between parties speaking different languages, primarily handling live calls, ensuring accurate interpretation. Work from home in a quiet and secure environment within specified locations. The role involves rotating shifts, including nights and public holidays, with a 9-hour workday and two rotating days off weekly. A competitive salary, including overtime pay, and benefits such as paid sick and annual leave are offered, along with a 3-week paid training period.

Requirements

• Fluent in English (Read & Speak & Write)
• Fluent in Arabic or Pashto (Read & Write & Speak)
• Must be working from home
• Own Mobile phone with Android 12 and above or IOS 15 and above
• Own laptop with updated version
• Must be willing to work rotating shift for 9 hours anytime following the required schedule by the client within 24 hours (Night Shift)
• Must be willing to work on public holidays as the operation is 24/7
• They will be entitled to 2 days off in a week which will be rotating any day

Responsibilities

• Facilitate communication between parties who speak different languages
• Accurately interpret conversations between callers (native language) and emergency operators (English)
• Convey messages in the caller's preferred language, ensuring both parties understand each other
• Work from a home office in a quiet and secure environment
