Summary
Join Education Perfect, an EdTech platform, as a Languages Generalist Editor to create high-quality language learning resources. You will collaborate with the content team, edit and review content, manage graphic design requests, support content maintenance, and resolve issues to enhance the learning experience. This fixed-term contract until December 2025 is open to New Zealand-based candidates. Responsibilities include building and editing content, collaborating on initiatives, supporting the Senior Quality Editor, managing operational tasks, and responding to content queries. The ideal candidate possesses subject matter expertise in language teaching, strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and relevant experience in editing or digital content creation. Requirements
- Proven subject matter expertise in language teaching, preferably in the following languages: Chinese, Italian, Spanish, Indonesian and/or EAL, with an understanding of pedagogy and instructional design needs
- Strong attention to detail to ensure our instructional design standard is reached
- Confident in providing training and feedback to content team members as required
- Ability to communicate effectively and maintain professional relationships with project teams
- A team player who can collaborate within a cross-functional environment
- Willingness to multi-task and switch between different content priorities as required
- A continuous improvement mindset, always looking for opportunities to improve ways of working
- Highly adaptable and agile approach, with the ability to deliver quality results
- Excellent time-management skills and the ability to work independently
- Excellent written English, grammar and spelling
- Relevant experience in editing, publishing or digital content creation
Responsibilities
- Build, edit and peer-check Languages content to ensure EP Design and Quality standards are met
- Manage graphic design requests/briefings and application to resources in collaboration with the Project team and Design Team
- Collaborate on Languages content initiatives contributing to the evolution of EP Design and Quality standards
- Support the Senior Quality Editor & Global Languages Lead with publishing content and managing Learning Pathways on the EP platform
- Support with essential operational tasks such as managing audio and media for Languages resources and editing teacher documentation
- Support with the updating and maintenance of all Languages content at the request of the Global Languages Lead or feedback channels
- Respond to Languages-specific content queries or fixes from teachers and EP Staff via the feedback channels across the company
