Summary

Join the National Taxpayers Union Foundation as a Law Clerk in their Taxpayer Defense Center and assist with substantive research, authoring, and editing assistance in preparing motions and amicus curiae briefs to appellate courts and reports on important legal and economic issues relating to tax.

Requirements

• Completed at least one year of law school by the start of the clerkship
• Familiarity with economic principles
• Interest in federal and state constitutional law and/or tax law

Responsibilities

• Assist the Taxpayer Defense Center with substantive research
• Authoring and editing assistance in preparing motions and amicus curiae briefs to appellate courts
• Reports on important legal and economic issues relating to tax

Benefits

$3,300 - $5,500 a year stipend
