Requirements
- 6+ years in financial planning related work with 2+ years as lead on client relationships
- Experience at a professional financial services company or wealth management firm
- Four-year degree
- CFP® designation
- Unquestioned commitment to integrity in personal and professional activities
Responsibilities
- Act as a Personal CFO for existing and new clients
- Lead and develop client relationships
- Deliver an exceptional client experience
- Design, implement, and manage financial plans that support client’s passions and purpose
- Cultivate and develop deep relationships with custodial partner retail branches to drive new client referrals
- Communicate our unique value proposition to prospective clients
- Establish Brighton Jones as the client's trusted financial advisor
- Proactively develop and be involved in the community
- Deepen relationships and build the Brighton Jones brand
- Leverage internal and external resources to achieve client objectives in areas such as Investment Management, Estate Planning, Tax Planning, Risk Management, and General Planning
- Create opportunities and represent Brighton Jones at public speaking events
- Be responsible for building a longer-term service team that will help support client retention, remarkable client service and new market growth
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in estate, tax, retirement, insurance, investment, and cash flow/capital needs planning analysis
- Self-starter with experience and a track record of generating opportunities, filling the pipeline and closing clients
- Highly motivated with ability to function well in a fast-paced environment and a history of setting and achieving goals
