Requirements

  • Hold a degree in Computer Science or a closely related field
  • At least 7 years of hands-on experience as a data analyst or analytics engineer, data science & engineering also counts, with at least 2 years in technical leadership roles (e.g. Lead Analyst/Engineer or similar)
  • Proficient in one or more programming languages
  • Strong knowledge of modern data architectures, platforms, technologies, and paradigms, including strong expertise with cloud services like AWS or GCP and their data-related offerings

Responsibilities

  • Own and evolve the data warehouse as the heart of our data platform, and the analytics products on top of it to enable data-driven decision-making, foster innovation, drive growth and ultimately contribute to air up's success
  • Design, build and evolve reliable data architectures to support air up’s evolving needs for analytics and decision intelligence
  • Ensure consistent data integration and flow across various systems, model core data assets while measuring and improving the quality and accessibility through data contracts, lineage, catalogs, and more
  • Implement best practices for DataOps and observability, to drive excellence, maximize technological leverage and ensure data accuracy and discoverability, safeguarding the integrity and consistency of our data and analytics assets
  • Be the technical leader for your area and work closely with and mentor other analysts and engineers. Collaborate across teams and functions to understand data needs and provide innovative and effective solutions. Be the data business partner for your stakeholders through co-creating and delivering actionable insights
