Summary

Join VeilSun as a Low-Code Developer with project management skills! You will develop, customize, and optimize low-code applications, primarily using Quickbase. This role involves collaborating directly with clients, gathering requirements, and designing solutions. You'll also identify opportunities to expand client usage of our solutions. Requirements

  • Possess Quickbase experience (2+ years), including building applications, creating custom workflows, and managing data models
  • Be skilled in creating custom workflows, data models, and process automations
  • Have the ability to design efficient data structures and workflows
  • Be skilled at diagnosing issues and implementing effective solutions
  • Possess intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including data analysis and reporting
  • Have 5+ years of experience in software development, with 2+ years of Quickbase experience preferred
  • Possess a background in consulting with experience advising and guiding clients through solutions
  • Have a proven ability to identify and promote cross-sell and up-sell opportunities
  • Be self-driven, adaptable, and comfortable working independently or as part of a team
  • Possess strong problem-solving skills and business acumen
  • Have the ability to learn and adopt new technologies quickly
  • Experience with other low-code platforms (Mendix, OutSystems, Power Apps, Appian, etc.) will be considered if Quickbase experience is limited

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and enhance low-code applications with a focus on functionality, scalability, and user experience
  • Develop and maintain custom workflows, integrations, and data models
  • Optimize the performance and usability of applications through continuous improvement
  • Act as a trusted consultant, working directly with business customers to gather requirements, analyze processes, and design solutions
  • Provide strategic guidance and recommend best practices to help clients achieve their goals
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver projects on time and within scope
  • Identify cross-sell and up-sell opportunities by recognizing additional client needs and suggesting complementary solutions or enhancements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Lead smaller-scale projects or support project managers in ensuring deliverables, timelines, and client expectations are met
  • Utilize Agile and Waterfall methodologies for effective project execution
  • Document and communicate project progress, risks, and solutions
  • Have a background in consulting with experience in client-facing roles
  • Be skilled at advising clients, managing expectations, and providing strategic insights
  • Clearly articulate technical concepts to business users
  • Ask insightful questions and offer strategic recommendations
  • Build trust by delivering value and exceeding expectations
  • Recognize and act on opportunities for additional value-added solutions, including custom features, integrations, or broader platform adoption
  • Collaborate with sales and account management teams to proactively recommend enhancements that align with client goals
  • Understand and address client challenges with a solution-oriented mindset
  • Be organized and detail-oriented with excellent time management and task prioritization
  • Drive projects and development tasks to completion
  • Collaborate effectively across teams and departments
  • Be proactive and adaptable, comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Have experience with process-driven applications; familiarity with workflow automation platforms is a plus
  • Have experience delivering projects using Agile and Waterfall methodologies
