Requirements

  • 7+ years of backend experience, including experience with PHP (Core)
  • Prior experience as a Tech Lead, demonstrating your ability to guide and mentor a team
  • Experience working with API integrations
  • A strong commitment to code quality, including experience with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing
  • Proven ability to lead architecture and software design discussions and translate them into actionable plans
  • Proven ability to apply software testing principles effectively
  • Expertise with security best practices
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Fluent communication in English
  • Ability to give effective feedback

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of new features and functionalities for our customers
  • Lead and plan new initiatives and features
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define technical roadmaps, prioritize features, and estimate development efforts
  • Drive and enforce high code quality standards through thorough code reviews, promoting best practices in software development, and ensuring maintainability and scalability
  • Mentor and guide team members, fostering a culture of learning, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Provide technical guidance, conduct code reviews, and share knowledge to enhance the team's overall performance and expertise
  • Proactively identify and address potential system bottlenecks, improve monitoring and alerting capabilities, and ensure the stability and performance
  • Utilizing existing monitoring tools to ensure system stability

Preferred Qualifications

  • Understanding of monitoring and infra tools and ability to interpret monitoring data using Datadog, OpenSearch and Grafana to track application performance and system metrics
  • Understanding of tools such as GitHub Actions and Kubernetes, to automate and containerize our application and services
