Requirements
- Proven experience driving UX writing, IA, and content strategy decisions for SaaS products or applications
- A knack for transforming complex inputs into simple, intuitive outputs
- Strong leadership skills in managing projects and collaborating effectively as part of a team
- Aptitude for coaching and challenging the status quo with structured thinking
- A proactive approach to identifying opportunities for innovation and addressing challenges
- Ability to connect the dots between products and features while keeping customer needs in focus

Responsibilities
- Write clear, user-friendly product copy that simplifies complex ideas and flows
- Identify information architecture (IA) issues and recommend improvements
- Act as a catalyst for vision work across Upworkโs core product experiences, embedding with key initiatives and influencing others
- Support teams in launching new features, ensuring seamless integration into existing product flows, including AI-powered capabilities
- Contribute insights to inform product strategy, aligning short-term and long-term business goals
- Design scalable content and champion continuous improvement of content standards through a design system
- Collaborate with and support teammates in iterating and improving content quality
- Apply UX research and data to inform content decisions
- Manage content backlogs, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
- Present work for feedback and revise based on input
