Summary
Join Grow Therapy, a rapidly growing mental healthcare company, as their Lead Data Scientist. Based in New York, NY, this role offers a competitive salary ($200,000-$250,000) and the opportunity to work remotely from anywhere in the U.S. You will build and improve data models, collaborate with product and engineering teams, and conduct data-driven analyses to inform company strategy. The ideal candidate possesses a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 4+ years of relevant experience, including expertise in Python, SQL, causal inference, and A/B testing. Requirements
- Requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Data Science, Machine Learning, Analytics, or related field, plus 4 years of experience in the job offered or related occupations
- Position requires 4 years of experience in Statistics, analytics and machine learning to tackle complex business problems that cross multiple product/project areas and teams
- Position also requires 2 years of experience in all of the following
- Advanced Python and SQL
- As well as understanding of causal inference methods, and understanding of experimentation
- Data storytelling, including creating a compelling narrative by extracting insights from data, and summarizing learnings / takeaways for executives
- Data infrastructure for tracking marketing campaign performance and evaluating performance
- Building measurement models including: Incrementality testing, data-driven attribution, and/or media mix modeling
- Designing, running, and interpreting statistical tests such as A/B Testing, Causal Inference, and/or Difference-in-differences
Responsibilities
- Build statistical, optimization, and machine learning models for applications including ranking, cost estimation and customer life-time value
- Use causal inference and Bayesian techniques to estimate the business value of client, provider and payor initiatives across our marketplace
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to build and improve on the availability, integrity, accuracy, and reliability of data logging and data pipelines
- Produce data-driven deep-dives into ambiguous product and business deep-dives to inform company strategy
