Requirements

  • B.S, M.S. or PhD. Degree in Engineering, Data Science, Math, Statistics, or a related field
  • 7+ years of experience in data science
  • 2+ Experience with programming languages such as Python and frameworks such as Pyspark
  • Experience working with large and complex datasets
  • Experience working with databases, such as Postgres, MySQL, SQL Server
  • Track record of writing optimized, scalable code
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to manipulate and analyze large datasets
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey complex findings to non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on validation and accuracy of results
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and frameworks like PySpark
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to mentor team members and contribute to culture of continuous learning and improvement
  • Experience in developing and optimizing data pipelines and ensuring data quality

Responsibilities

  • Analyze, build, test, and implement statistical and machine learning models that extract meaningful insights from large datasets
  • Apply mathematical and statistical techniques for spatial and temporal data
  • Develop and implement advanced predictive models
  • Build data visualization, dashboards, and reports for internal and external customers
  • Write and optimize efficient, maintainable code, collaborating with cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

Background in robotics or related field and understanding of temporal and spatial data concepts
