Lead Data Scientist

Summary

Join our team as a Lead Data Scientist and contribute to the development and improvement of our revolutionary AI health product. We're a successful mobile product with over 15 million users and significant year-over-year growth. In this role, you will enhance existing algorithms, lead projects for new algorithm and feature implementation, and advance personalization algorithms. You'll collaborate with various teams, including ML engineers, developers, nutrition scientists, and coaches. Requirements

• Strong data analysis skills with the ability to derive insights
• Experience designing experiments and evaluating their impact
• Experience in modeling
• Expertise in breaking down complex technical processes
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and BI tools
• Background in efficiency/growth analytics teams
• Solid understanding of machine learning principles

Responsibilities

• Enhance Existing Algorithms
• Conduct in-depth analyses of system performance to formulate hypotheses
• Model optimal system configurations and validate results through A/B testing
• Develop diagnostic tools to identify and address inefficiencies in algorithm performance
• Maintain and improve the metrics influenced by our algorithms
• Generate and check hypotheses based on product research and experiment drive the development of new features, ensuring the best ideas are delivered to production
• Oversee feature launch and measure the impact on business metrics
• Collaborate with developers to refine solutions and define technical requirements; collaborate with nutrition scientists and coaches
• Collaborate with the ML team to evolve our personalization journey from heuristics to Uplift Models and Reinforcement Learning (RL)
