Summary
Join our team as a Lead level Infrastructure engineer to help set & lead the technical vision for our infrastructure, observability, site reliability, and software release pipeline.
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience within an infrastructure team
- Strong experience designing and maintaining large-scale AWS environments focusing on high availability, reliability, and security
- Understanding of AWS Well-Architected Framework
- In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP, networking protocols, and cloud-native networking
- Proficiency with modern infrastructure management tools and comfort at the command line
- Experience with multiple tools in the modern DevOps toolkit, infrastructure management tools, and automation
- Experience designing, deploying, and supporting a true cloud-native system
- Proven ability to learn quickly, make pragmatic decisions, and adapt to changing business needs
- Proven ability to provide tactical, and technical leadership
- Proven ability to provide technical leadership and foster collaboration within teams
- Strong interpersonal skills β the ability to build and maintain trust networks with your peers
- Ability to understand and communicate complex technical concepts and plans to multiple audiences of varying technical capacity
- Demonstrated project development and leadership skills, focus on results
- Strong presentation skills, with experience conducting workshops or training sessions
- Excellent critical thinking skills and problem-solving abilities, particularly in high-pressure situations
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
- A passion for continuous improvement, focusing on results that positively impact the business and customer

- Build our platform β create the tools and workflows that make our engineering teams more productive and able to own their work all the way through to production
- Implement best practices regarding developing, delivering, operating and maintaining services
- Maintain regular and reliable work attendance
Benefits
On-call duty corresponds to being available to respond to critical system issues: 6pm to 9am (the following day), Monday - Friday. A full day (24 hours) on weekends and public holidays
