Requirements

  • Adtech experience or Martech experience is an asset
  • 2+ years managing five or more direct reports
  • 5+ years experience of software development in distributed systems, architecting scalable microservices and data pipelines. Experience in these areas for a successful high-growth technology company is a plus
  • Experience with Go (GoLang) Programming Language is needed in this role
  • Proven track record of delivering results and leading growing, high-impact teams
  • Experience as a player coach, leading technology as well as people management. Ideally experience managing 3 to 10 direct reports while being a hands on leader

Responsibilities

  • Leading a team of engineers focused on building integrations with first-party, and third-party data sources
  • Contribute to building of StackAdapt CDP (Customer Data Platform)
  • Architect and review scalable low-latency backend systems and data pipelines
  • Lead and mentor a growing team of talented engineers within the backend team
  • Make a positive impact on the team's productivity and growth
  • Promote software development best-practices and conduct rigorous code reviews
  • Rigorously identify and solve technical challenges
  • Manage software development processes and own the technical roadmap
  • Conduct interviews to attract and identify potential high performing candidates
  • Balance and prioritize projects to maximize efficiency and ensure company objectives are achieved
