Requirements
- Strong portfolio demonstrating a high level of creativity, versatility, and attention to detail
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
- Proficient computer knowledge/skills (i.e., MS Office Suite such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
- Bachelor's degree or higher is preferred
- Ability to create designs that build an emotional connection with clients
- Capable of creating print, web, web banner, e-blast, social media campaigns and collateral
- Strong understanding of branding, most importantly the role that visual elements play
- Self-starter who constantly seeks out new ways to improve and advance our mission
- Detail-obsessed; driven to produce the highest quality, as-pixel-perfect-as-possible work
- Ability to manage and inspire a team while meeting tight deadlines
- Passion for mentorship and coaching junior graphic designers
- History in working with collaborative teams
- 3-5 years of experience in a graphic design role is required
Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with the Creative Manager, Marketing Director, and other designers and project leads
- Collaborate closely with clients, presenting design concepts and effectively communicating the rationale behind creative choices
- Coordinate with project managers and other project leads to ensure smooth project workflow and timely delivery
- Maintain workflow within our project management system
- Attend weekly review/status meetings
- Research and analyze appropriate design options for client requests
- Aid in the evaluation of marketing goals and successes
- Perform effectively as a member of the project team
- Maintain collateral update requests for both digital and print applications
- Design marketing/sales assets for new marketing initiatives. Timely, aesthetic, accurate, and error-free work product is paramount
- Develop brand identities for new home communities, builder clients, and new internal divisions
- Lead builder brand identity and brand manual updates
- Mentor and lead Junior Graphic Designers
- Assist with IPA, PPA, and IDP strategy
- Assist with facilitating graphic designer workshops
- Assist in traffic management of design projects
Preferred Qualifications
- 1-2 years experience in mentorship is preferred
- Agency experience is a plus
