Summary
Join Cleo, a fast-growing fintech unicorn, as a Lead Product Analyst in our payments collections team. You will leverage data to drive net profitability, define key metrics, and optimize our payments engine. This role involves deep-dive analysis, root cause analysis, A/B testing, and collaboration with engineering, product, and data science teams. You will play an instrumental role in shaping the team's short-term and long-term roadmaps. This is a unique opportunity to maximize profitability and grow alongside a rapidly scaling company. Requirements
- Be a system thinker: Approach problems, opportunities, and challenges by understanding the interconnected components of a payments ecosystem
- Have multiple years of experience doing quantitative analysis within a digital product environment
- Have solid SQL experience. Know how to dig deep through various data sources to find insights
- Have a demonstrated history of helping drive team strategy through helping build roadmaps and prioritising initiatives
- Have a proven track record of proactively optimising processes through data-led insights
- Be comfortable with defining metrics from scratch and creating dashboards
- Be familiar with conducting large-scale A/B experiments
Responsibilities
- Conduct deep-dive analysis of the payments ecosystem to identify the highest impact areas for growth
- Dig deep into our user behaviour and payments data to conduct root cause analysis on unexpected metric movements
- Define key payments-related metrics and track KPIs to assess the efficiency of our payments platform
- Work alongside our engineering, product, and data science partners to build a best-in-class payments intelligence
- Conduct regular A/B tests and causal analyses to determine the impact of product changes on success metrics
- Work with Analytics Engineering to prioritise data modelling needs in your area as well as directly contributing to our transformed data codebase
Preferred Qualifications
- Be familiar with payment systems and in particular with US payment rails (e.g. ACH)
- Have experience working with third party data (either with payments processors, risk engines, or data aggregators)
