Lead Product Engineer

Summary

The job is for a Product Engineer at Filmhub, where the employee will provide technical leadership, guide team members, make decisions on technology stack, work in a cross-functional team, and contribute to the full software lifecycle. The role involves building both backend and frontend systems and working closely with design, product management, and data engineering.

Requirements

• Proficient in JavaScript, React
• Experience with PostgreSQL
• Knowledge of Prisma or similar ORM
• Proficient in IaC: AWS Lambda, Step Functions, CDK
• Knowledge of API best practices

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with NextJS
• Knowledge of Serverless API’s
• Familiarity with Cypress and Jest
• Experience with Vercel
• Knowledge of GitHub Actions
• Familiarity with AWS Batch, CloudFront, CloudFront Functions, RDS, SQS
• Experience with Docker
• Familiarity with FFmpeg/transcode
• Knowledge of data engineering, ML, feature extraction, NLP, Scikit, Pandas and similar
• Experience as a Technical Lead, Manager, or Architect
