Lead QA Automation Engineer

Summary

Join our team as a QA leader and take ownership of the entire QA process, designing and implementing effective testing strategies. You will perform manual and automated testing using Python, collaborate with stakeholders, identify bottlenecks, and proactively solve testing challenges. This role requires 6+ years of software testing experience, including 4+ years in test automation with Python, and leadership skills to guide a QA team. Hands-on experience in payments/B2B testing, performance/load testing, and familiarity with Kibana, Postman, and API testing are essential. Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and strong communication skills are also required. Requirements

• At least 6+ years of experience in software testing, including at least 4 years of hands-on experience in test automation ( Python )
• Leadership skills with a proven ability to guide, mentor, and motivate the QA Team to achieve high levels of performance and productivity
• Hands-on experience in payments/B2B testing
• Strong hands-on skills in manual testing and working with complex business logic
• Strong experience in performance and load testing
• Solid knowledge of the Kibana system, Postman, and API testing
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Allure reporting)
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
• Good communication skills in English and russian

Responsibilities

• Taking ownership of the entire QA process and ensuring its continuous improvement
• Designing and implementing effective testing strategies and plans
• Performing hands-on manual and automated testing (Python)
• Actively collaborating with developers, analysts, and other stakeholders throughout the development and release cycles
• Identifying bottlenecks and improving QA processes and workflows
• Proactively solving testing-related challenges and ensuring product quality
• Not only distributing tasks but also directly participating in day-to-day testing activities
