Lead ROR Developer

Summary

Join our team as a Software Engineer III and play a critical role in developing and implementing secure software solutions to protect our systems and data. As a key member of our team, you will design, develop, and maintain secure software applications, collaborate with cross-functional teams, conduct code reviews, and participate in the design and implementation of secure coding standards and guidelines.

Requirements

• Overall 8+ years of experience with 5+ with RoR
• Experience developing and maintaining Enterprise level application in Ruby on Rails
• Highly experienced in Ruby on Rails application framework and Ruby language
• Experience working with Active Records, ActiveJobs, Sidekiq and RSpec etc
• Experience with API development and Service-oriented architecture
• Experience with integrating Third Party API's to rails application
• Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Jquery and related libraries
• Experience with high-performance database systems (PostgreSQL, MySQL etc.)

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain secure software applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand system requirements and implement security measures
• Conduct code reviews and perform vulnerability assessments to identify and address security vulnerabilities
• Implement encryption, authentication, access control, and other security mechanisms in software systems
• Participate in the design and implementation of secure coding standards and guidelines
• Conduct penetration testing and security audits to identify and address potential risks
• Develop and maintain documentation related to security controls, processes, and incident response procedures
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure the effective deployment and operation of security technologies

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in working on cloud providers like AWS (EC2, RDS, CloudWatch, S3, ECS, etc)
• Experience in Test and Behaviour Driven development
