Lead Sap Basis Consultant

Summary

Join Nagarro, a leading Digital Product Engineering company, and lead a new virtual team focused on SAP RISE customers. This role involves developing standard procedures, managing projects (installations, updates, migrations, etc.), advising customers and colleagues on SAP RISE and related technologies, and supporting presales activities. The position can be based at one of our locations or remotely throughout Germany. You will need extensive experience in SAP Basis, project management, and system migrations. Requirements

• Experience in managing projects in the SAP Basis area, especially for SAP RISE customers
• Hands-On experience in system migrations from On-Premise to the SAP RISE environment and other common tasks in this area
• Several years of experience in the setup and operation of SAP systems and related technologies
• Sound knowledge of at least 2 of the common SAP databases, such as HANA, Oracle, Sybase etc
• Knowledge in connecting cloud services like SAP BTP, SAP SAC etc. to a SAP RISE landscape
• Completed university studies in business informatics / computer science or comparable qualifications and/or several years of relevant professional experience
• Business fluent German (C1) and fluent English (B2)
• Willingness to work occasional nights or weekends

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead a new virtual team responsible for SAP RISE customers
• Develop and document standard procedures to ensure serving our customers in a common approach and in high quality
• Organize and conduct projects in the area of SAP RISE, e.g. installations, updates, migrations, S/4 conversions, analysis and optimization, FIORI and best practice activation
• Advise customers and colleagues in the area of SAP RISE and concerning configuration of related technologies, e.g. connecting cloud products such as SAP BTP, setting up single sign-on solutions, configuring interfaces, etc
• Support in Presales activities for new customers in the area of SAP RISE

Preferred Qualifications

Ideally one or more certifications in the area of SAP RISE
