Summary

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with 8+ years in full-stack PHP development with deep Laravel experience
  • Proven success migrating legacy applications like CodeIgniter
  • Proficient in Vue.js and modern JavaScript frameworks
  • Strong skills in HTML, CSS, and preprocessors like SASS/LESS
  • Git expertise and familiarity with Unix/Linux environments
  • Experience working with RESTful APIs
  • Detail-oriented and user-focused approach
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • U.S. work authorization required

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of modern Laravel applications
  • Oversee migration from CodeIgniter to Laravel with an emphasis on performance, scalability, and clean architecture
  • Mentor developers, uphold code quality, and foster team knowledge-sharing
  • Write secure, maintainable code with strong documentation and testing
  • Review and approve code to ensure consistency and best practices
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies via Microsoft Teams
  • Track tasks and deliverables using internal project tools
  • Stay up to date on security protocols and development trends
  • Tackle complex problems independently while supporting team growth
  • Design with empathy and prioritize the user experience
  • Collaborate effectively to support shared goals
  • Take on additional tasks and responsibilities as needed to support team objectives and ensure the success of the project

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Docker and containerized development
  • Familiarity with AWS services and CI/CD pipelines
  • Strong SQL and database optimization skills
  • Background in healthcare or government projects
  • Passion for creating intuitive, high-performance UIs
